  • Not Not Fun Records is putting out UNKNOWN ME's debut LP, Bishintai. The quartet co-founded by H. Takahashi, P-RUFF, Yakenohara and Osawa Yudai, has been releasing cassette mini-albums since 2016, and the group's forthcoming LP is their first vinyl release and full-length. Spanning twelve tracks, the project involves musicians Jim O'Rourke and Foodman, as well as Japanese underground staples Mc.sirafu and Lisa Nakagawa. It's due out on April 30th. UNKNOWN ME is a Tokyo-based ambient group with several releases under their belt via Not Not Fun, NOPPARA TAPES and P-RUFF's imprint, radloop. Listen to "Open The Sense."
