- The legendary house music group just dropped a new single, "Be Free."
Marshall Jefferson & Byron Stingily's long-defunct Ten City act has released a new single via Ultra Records.
"Be Free" is the first new music from the legendary group since 1996. Ten City was one a handful of house acts to achieve mainstream success. The Chicago group, which at the time was a Jefferson-produced unit featuring Stingily, Byron Burke and Herb Lawson, scored a chart-topping hit with the 1989 vocal house cut "That's The Way Love Is."
"Be Free" features production from Emmaculate and Shannon Chambers, and lyrics by Stingily.
