- "Getting to work with Mark Ernestus is a real honour," says the Irish artist.
Calibre has revealed his 16th studio album Feeling Normal.
It's the well-established artist's "first bona fide 140 BPM record" and includes 13 tracks that have been road-tested over the past two to three years, many of them becoming favourites among hardcore fans.
The album, which features DRS and Cimone, is out in late February, but ahead of that, he'll release two Mark Ernestus versions of the track "Badman," featuring DRS.
"Getting to work with Mark Ernestus is a real honour, I collected his and Maurizio Von Oswald's work for many years and still do," writes Calibre. "It's hard to avoid the influence of these guys in electronic music across genres and so it is a real pleasure to have Mark do his thing with the 'Badman' tune, which I think sounds closely related."
The Calibre & DRS V Mark Ernestus 12-inch, Bad / Badder, will drop at Hard Wax on June 29th, then on Bandcamp February 12th. Both Feeling Normal and Bad / Badder will come out on Calibre's Signature Recordings.
