A three-part compilation, D-Edge 20 Years Vol. 1, 2 & 3, marks 20 years of the important Brazilian nightclub D-EDGE.
The São Paulo nightclub is known for its sound, design and bookings, which have included big names like Richie Hawtin, Nicole Moudaber, Solomun and the Martinez Brothers over its two-decade run. But for the three-part compilation, D-EDGE resident, DJ and producer Renato Ratier has focused on Brazilian artists, many of whom appear regularly at the club.
The compilation comes out on the D-EDGE's in-house label of the same name, includes three instalments covering different sounds including minimal, Afrohouse, melodic and techno. Acts like Duc in Altum, Binaryh and Tarter have contributed tracks, as has Ratier himself.
