  • Mark Flash of Underground Resistance fame is launching a new label this month. DTFA (Detroit Techno Funk Association) is a digital-only label inspired by the legacy of Detroit techno. The first release also marks the first volume of a new series called Hors D'oeuvres, featuring "snack tracks" meant as "DJ food," or in other words, dance floor tools. "Not designed to feed the mind," says the label. "The goal is to feed the soul." Hors D'oeuvres is due out on November 20th. Later on in December, Flash will release another EP, Alkebulan, this time to launch Still Music's new label, Still Techno. Listen to clips over at Juno.
