Influential Manchester DJ Dave Booth has died.
Booth, who passed away last Saturday of unknown causes, was a key fixture on the scene since the '70s, first as a resident at legendary venue Pips Disco, where he famously DJ'd at Joy Division's first-ever gig. Over the next two decades, he played at spots like Deville's, The Haçienda and Space Ibiza. He also supported The Stone Roses on numerous occasions, including their iconic 1990 gig at Spike Island.
Fellow Manchester artists have been paying tribute on Twitter.
