- Pacific Breeze 2: Japanese City Pop, AOR & Boogie 1972-1986 arrives May 15th.
Light In The Attic is releasing a second compilation of Japanese archival music, Pacific Breeze 2: Japanese City Pop, AOR & Boogie 1972-1986.
The first installment of Pacific Breeze included key players in the Japanese city pop scene from the '70s and '80s. Its 16-track follow-up digs deeper into this archive, featuring singers such as Tomoko Aran and Anri, plus many tunes rarely available outside of Japan. Pacific Breeze 2 will be available on CD, tape or as a double-pack LP from May 15th.
Light In The Attic, a Seattle-based label, is also responsible for 2019's RA-Recommended compilation Kankyō Ongaku: Japanese Ambient, Environmental & New Age Music 1980-1990.
