UK festival Kingdom announces lineup for inaugural edition in 2020

  • The lineup for Kingdom has been announced. The first of edition of the three-day festival, from the team behind London event GALA, first edition this July is shaped by curator partnerships that will see music, design and architecture crews teaming up on bespoke venues on the grounds of Belvoir Castle Estate in July. London venue Spiritland and architects IF-DO will create a space that will host slots from Maurice Fulton, Beautiful Swimmers and a back-to-back from Heidi Lawden and Lovefingers, among others. Daniel Avery and Dutch artist Heleen Blanken will run an "audiovisual experience" in a forest, which will see sets from the likes of Peach, Prosumer and Yu Su, while Total Refreshment Centre and Kingdom's own design team join forces for The Valley, home to live performances from Nightmares on Wax, Nabihah Iqbal and more. Previously announced partners Rhythm Section International and Assemble will be joined by artists including Marcellus Pittman, Shanti Celeste, CC:DISCO and Awesome Tapes From Africa.
