Antigone is launching a new label called Ostinato.
Also the title of French producer Antonin Jeanson's 2017 EP for Token, the imprint's name comes from "the classical term for a repetitive pattern in music," according to the press release. It'll be "a family business," Jeanson says, serving as "a platform for exploring new sound territories with no constraints, no release calendars and no pre-established formats."
Antigone handles the inaugural release himself, a four-track EP called Post Modern Tec, out this Friday, February 14th.
Ostinato will also serve as a new event series, kicking off on February 21st at Rex Club.
