The Austrian experimental mainstay will play 16 dates in March and April.
Fennesz will head out on the road for a American tour this spring.
The Austrian artist recently released his first solo album in five years, Agora, and has been translating the refracted guitar and experimental electronics of that album to the live setting. We caught Fennesz at MUTEK.MX in November—check out our five key performances review of his set.
The spring tour includes gigs in San Francisco, LA, Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Montreal, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Dallas, Durham, Cleveland and Columbia, Missouri. He'll also appear at the Big Ears Festival in Knoxville and the Mission Creek Festival in Iowa City. Brooklyn-based composer Britton Powell will support at all the headlining dates.
