  • Mr. Oizo has released a Flat Eric plush as a new limited edition collector's item to celebrate the 20th anniversary of "Flat Beat." Back in 1999, Flat Eric the muppet appeared in the "Flat Beat" clip, which rocketed both character and producer to international stardom. Now, to mark the 20th anniversary, Mr. Oizo has teamed up with French designer Michael Dupouy and firm AllRightsReserve to release a new version of Flat Eric, which also comes with his new son, Flat Eric Junior. The two will come in a special box, limited to 2500 copies, and can attach to each other via magnets in their hands. Find more info on the plush here. (The website notes, "Not a toy. Not made for children.") Read our feature about "Flat Beat" here, and watch the video.
