Sign Libra will release a new album, Sea To Sea, on RVNG Intl. in the new year.
Agata Melnikova's second LP explores the "philosophical and mythological nature" of the so-called "seas" of the moon's surface, known collectively as lunar maria, according to the label. Each of Sea To Sea's nine songs is devoted to a different "liquid expanse." It's out on February 14th, 2020.
A portion of the proceeds from the album will go to Music Fund, an organization that supports music schools and socio-artistic projects in conflict zones and developing countries.
Closer to the Equator, Melnikova's debut album, was originally released on Sounds Of the Dawn in 2016 and re-released on Antinote last year.
