This weekend's party will be the final one using the system, which the New York crew have owned since 2009.
Mister Saturday Night are selling their Mister Sunday soundsystem.
The rig is up on eBay right now with a starting bid price of $32,000. (You can also buy it now for $42,000.)
In an email, Eamon Harkin and Justin Carter explained how they've used the soundsystem since their first-ever loft party at the Market Hotel in 2009, and how they've added bits and pieces to its Turbosound skeleton over the years—including custom components built by Daniel Smith, their head of sound, and Jim Toth, who designed the soundsystem at the old Santos Party House in TriBeCa.
The New York duo are also offering a direct line (via email) to buy the soundsystem so they can keep it "in the extended family."
This weekend's 2019 season closing Mister Sunday party at Nowadays will be the final one to use the soundsystem.
