Lower Manhattan just got a new venue.
The Dance is a multi-room club located on Lafayette Street in Noho with an approximately 250-capacity main space, according to Brooklyn Vegan. The venue comes from the owner behind Elvis Guesthouse and Baby's All Right, Billy Jones.
After multiple soft-launch events in September, The Dance officially opened last week. Programming thus far has included rock shows, New York Fashion Week parties and an electronic music lineup with Kelman Duran, Blazer Sound System, Felix Hall and Daniela Lalita. Details of future dance music events are still TBA.
Billy Jones's other venture, Baby's All Right is a restaurant, bar and music venue offering live acts and dance music located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
