Ka Baird makes RVNG Intl. debut with second LP, Respires

- Rvng Intl. will put out Ka Baird's second solo album on October 25th. NYC-based artist Kathleen Baird wrote and recorded most of the eight tracks in 2018. The label cites Respire's main influences as New Guinea's indigenous flute music, Burundi's vocal music and Can. The album also features collaborations from Zach Rowden on bass, Max Eilbacher and Andrew Fitzpatrick on synths and Greg Fox on drums. Respire follows the release of Baird's debut solo album in 2017. She's one of the founding members of the experimental folk output Spires That In The Sunset Rise.
