Massive Attack are finally releasing a 21-year-old dub version of their 1998 album, Mezzanine.
Massive Attack Vs Mad Professor Part II (Mezzanine Remix Tapes) features eight edits by British dub legend Mad Professor, including takes on "Angel" and "Teardrop." It was originally meant to come out alongside the album—Massive Attack had previously released a Mad Professor-produced dub version of their 1994 LP, Protection—but the project was shelved, with only a few tracks released as B-sides. It'll be available on vinyl via UMC / Virgin EMI from September 23rd.
