- It's the Manchester label's fourth release this year.
L. Lund, AKA Lukas Alexander Lundén, will release his debut album, Lo Tech, on YOUTH next week.
Lundén is a sound artist and graphic designer who heads Terranean Recordings, Birthdeath and Barely Here, and records under a multitude of aliases. The three labels are used predominantly for his own output, which are "multi-genre works that revolve around aural extremes." More recently, he's turned towards sound art, using "experimental methods to capture and process sound."
Lo Tech will be released both as a digital download and as a limited edition CD. It's the fourth release from Manchester label YOUTH this year, and follows the Sports compilation (which featured artists like Peder Mannerfelt, FUMU and Kassem Mosse), Hoshina Anniversary's Nihon No Ongaku / ?????? and Howes' The Weathertenko. Sports is also getting a five-track 12-inch release, which is due out in October.
