- The six-track LP is out now on Black Sweat.
Sarah Davachi has released an album with Ariel Kalma.
Intemporel, out on Italian label Black Sweat, comprises six collaborative tracks that the press release says is "built from the long tones of saxophone, tanpura drones, wildly varied structures uttered by synths, harmonium and Tibetan bells."
Davachi is a Canadian artist and rising star in the ambient and experimental music world. Late last year she released the Gave In Rest album and has a new record of solo piano music called Pale Bloom coming out at the end of this month.
Ariel Kalma, meanwhile, has been active since the late '60s. A saxophonist, composer and electronic musician, he's released countless albums over the decades. RVNG Intl. released a compilation of his works in 2014, in addition to a Black Sweat retrospective from 2017, and he also made a collaborative LP with Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe.
