- Another event space in the city centre is in the works.
The Harley is closing down.
The Sheffield venue announced the news last Friday in a now-deleted Facebook post. Citing "mounting financial pressures," the space, which also included a restaurant, was to close with immediate effect. However, the post goes on to mention "a new city centre event space" being developed by the Harley's events and music department in collaboration with local promoters.
The venue put on numerous bands and club nights over the years, hosting the likes of Zed Bias, Plastician, Midland, Flava D, DJ Q and more.
