Lakker are releasing a new album called Época in March.
Out on R&S, the LP follows a two-year break during which the Irish duo focused on their solo projects, Arad and Eomac. Spanning ten tracks, it features the duo's own vocals for the first time, with regular vocal collaborator Eileen Carpio also contributing. As usual, the record pulls from a wide range of cultural references and sounds sources, including "violin, guitar and bodhrán, the stringboard of a piano at EMS Stockholm, phone recordings of family gatherings in Dublin and 1970s dance music from Jaipur."
