- The LP was inspired by virtual reality technology and 'imagined water worlds.'
Samuel van Dijk, AKA VC-118A, will release his next album on February 25th.
Inside was inspired by "virtual reality and imagined water worlds," according to the press release, and uses the album-length format to explore the more experimental and ambient-oriented take on electro and techno he showcased on 2016 LP Shift Register.
The album "goes from sparse, mysterious grooves to shiny underwater electro to frazzled and distorted techno," the press release adds, through "absorbing passages of ambient and overdriven machine workouts."
Delsin reissued van Dijk's 2015 EP Vaxna earlier this year. The Dutch producer also makes music under the names Multicast Dynamics and Mohlao, and has released on labels like Silent Season, Konstrukt and Denovali in the past.
