- The Japanese label will also release a third volume of its Midnight In Tokyo compilation series in early 2019.
Mule Musiq will mark its 15th anniversary with a series of 12 EPs in 2019.
First up are 12-inches from Isolee and Bodycode (AKA Portable). Label boss Toshiya Kawasaki tells RA he's also lined up instalments from Superflu, Aril Brikha, Losoul, Lawrence, Axel Boman, Roman Flügel, Iori, Superpitcher, Chaos In The CBD and Eduardo de la Calle. Each record will come with collectible artwork from Stefan Marx, and the back covers of the 12 records will fit together to display the message, "I'm starting to feel okay"—also the name of Mule's regular various artists compilation.
Mule sub-label Studio Mule, meanwhile, will put out a third volume of its Midnight In Tokyo series, consisting of rare, archival Japanese disco, boogie and soul. We'll have further details on Mule's 2019 plans soon.
