  • The team behind popular Brazilian club Laroc are opening a new open-air venue in November. AME will have a capacity of 2500, roughly half that of its sister venue. It'll neighbour Laroc, occupying a spot in the hills to the north-west of São Paulo, and will focus on hosting the biggest names in house and techno, starting with Joris Voorn, who is down for the opening on Saturday, November 17th. All other dates are still TBA. "AME will offer a new way to host underground parties," said AME director Mario Albuquerque. "We will continue to value the sunset and bring a high level of production and design a luxury environment deep in the middle of the beautifully natural site. AME Club has come to fill a gap in the market and contribute to the growth of the local scene, while also allowing us to host festivals connecting both clubs with two stages."
