SHALT is releasing a new LP on September 14th.
The London producer's second release of 2018 is also his most substantial yet, comprising six new tracks. Label Astral Plane Recordings describes Seraphim as "focusing in on the intersection between the technological and the natural," with accompanying visual work by Los Angeles artist Nick Zhu fleshing out a "narrative around an angelic being."
Musically, the press release says the LP is "a barrage of rugged percussion juxtaposed with passages of melodic bliss... a nod to the distinct intellectual, moral and temporal crisis of our time."
Seraphim follows SHALT's two "loop-focused" ?ælt EPs, which were released on Astral Plane over the last year.
