- After last weekend's Barcelona edition, a one-day event has been planned at IFEMA.
DGTL, the Amsterdam-rooted festival and events organization, is launching a Madrid edition on December 5th.
Fresh from its fourth annual festival in Barcelona this past weekend, DGTL is now announcing that it'll extend its reach in Spain to Madrid, with a one-day event set to take over the IFEMA (or Feria de Madrid) convention center. A lineup is still TBA.
"Spain was the first country outside the Netherlands that we arrived to with DGTL," says Dave van Dalen, the organization's marketing director. "We all love this place and its people, so we figured, 'Why not take the party indoors during winter?' We are also aware that a lot of people from Madrid take the trip to enjoy the Barcelona edition and we wanted to bring the party closer to them."
DGTL next hits Tel Aviv in late September, before its flagship event happens in Amsterdam in October.
