  • Johnny Jewel has shared an album of outtakes called Themes For Television. Released to mark the one-year anniversary since the return of Twin Peaks, Themes For Television is made up of outtakes from the sessions for Jewel's last solo album, Windswept. Selections from Windswept were chosen by director David Lynch for Twin Peaks: The Return. None of the music was made specifically for the TV series, though Jewel wrote some of it with what he imagined Twin Peaks: The Return might be like in mind. The 21 tracks on this album were edited later, last winter, in Tokyo. Themes For Television is out now on digital, with a vinyl release coming on June 29th through Jewel's label Italians Do It Better. Watch the video for "Red Door."
