The new team will throw a launch party this Friday, March 9th.
New owners have taken control of Berlin's Kosmonaut club.
The duo, Gary Mahon and Oliver Mohns, have rebranded and renovated the space, which is now called Polygon Club. Both promoters in Berlin, they reconfigured the venue's layout, increasing the size of the dance floors and adding darkrooms.
The 600 square-metre space has room for three dance floors, which will host artists such as Aquarius Heaven, dOP and Invite at the opening this Friday, March 9th. A monthly gay party called B:EAST is also locked in, with Robert Owens and CYRK confirmed for its first edition this Saturday. Developer and Arnaud Le Texier are among the names billed for the coming months.
Located on the border of Friedrichshain and Lichtenberg, Kosmonaut was open for five years, bringing international DJs to its multi-roomed space each weekend. Renovations for Polygon Club began in January this year.
