- The UK producer's second full-length features more of a focus on the piano, with collaborators including Bonobo and Lil Silva.
A new George FitzGerald album, titled All That Must Be, is out in March on Double Six and Domino.
FitzGerald's second LP, after 2015's Fading Love, All That Must Be is described as a more piano-focused work that has its "psychological roots" in both Berlin and London. It documents a span of time in which he made an abrupt move out of Berlin (his place of residence for ten years), returned to his hometown of London and became a father.
"I wanted to mirror the uncanniness you feel when a massive event happens in your life," FitzGerald says. "Everything looks and sounds the same but its somehow different. Your surroundings are less intelligible."
The ten-track album includes last year's single "Burns," the first original material he'd released since Fading Love, and it features some collaborators: Bonobo, Lil Silva, Tracey Thorn and Hudson Scott.
FitzGerald is also gearing up for a live tour alongside his band. They'll play across the UK and Europe in March, and North America later in 2018.
