Hunee's compilation for Rush Hour Music, titled Hunchin' All Night, is coming out in March.
Hunchin' All Night has been a couple of years in the making—first details were revealed by Rush Hour back in 2016. We now know that it will be spread across three pieces of vinyl, with 12 tunes giving a broad overview of Hunee's DJ sets, with tunes plucked from the past five decades.
The compilation opens with Carlos Maria Trindade & Nuno Canavarro's "Blu Terra," from the sought-after 1991 LP Mr. Wollogallu, and weaves through disco, house and African music, with tunes by the likes of Larry Heard, Boncana Maiga, Pat Thomas, Blak Beat Niks, Kenny Larkin (under his Dark Comedy alias) and Mappa Mundi.
