- In partnership with the ICA's Playback Festival, Resident Advisor will help the winner produce an experimental music documentary.
Resident Advisor will partner with Playback Festival 2018 to fund an experimental music documentary by a young filmmaker.
The contest is open to established and aspiring filmmakers aged 16 to 24 living in England. Five finalists will present their ideas at the festival, run by the Institute Of Contemporary Arts (ICA), in London in March 2018. The winner will work with the RA films team to produce their documentary film with a budget of £4,000, and will have access to our equipment. RA staff will work with the winning filmmaker on every step of production up to delivery of the film, the deadline for which will be August 2018. The completed documentary will be hosted on Resident Advisor, as well as ICA's website and social media accounts.
