- Vandepapeliere aims to highlight music he's found during his forays into DJing.
Renaat Vandepapeliere, the founder of the legendary Belgian label R&S Records who recently began DJing out for the first time, is launching a new series called RV Trax.
We're told the series, which comes via R & S, will reflect the sound of Vandepapeliere's DJ sets—he's playing out "at the tender age of 60," as a press release puts it—while championing music from lesser-known producers. The first release, coming on vinyl and digital formats in January, features Steve Legget remixing fellow UK artist Bird of Paradise as well as original productions from G-Prod and Hermetics.
