  • The new Waldorf Quantum synth is coming soon. The Quantum was first revealed in April at Musikmesse in Frankfurt. According to the German music tech retailer Thomann, it'll be available on January 15th, which is just in time for NAMM, the world's largest music tech conference, taking place in Anaheim, California from January 25th. It's Waldorf's most complex flagship synth in decades. It has eight voices, and its three digital oscillators can function as wavetables, granular samplers and resonators in addition to providing classic waveforms. Each voice has two analogue low-pass filters while six LFOs are on-board for modulation. The main output has a compressor in addition to five in-built effects and there's 4GB of flash memory for storing samples, wavetables and presets.
The Waldorf Quantum will be available in January from $3,975.00.
