  • Anenon's next album is due out on Friends Of Friends in February. Tongue is the fourth album for Brian Allen Simon and the follow-up to the Petrol LP he released in 2016 through Friends Of Friends. The Los Angeles-born artist, whose productions incorporate elements of electronic, classical and jazz music, recorded it last April in the attic of a 16th-century villa located near the town of Palaia, in Italy's Tuscany region. "I wanted to make music that can live inside of anywhere one finds themselves: city or country," he says of the record, which a press release describes as coming from an "abstract articulation of love, loss, fear, addiction, confidence, longing, hope and sadness." Listen to Tongue track "Verso."
