- 'Only Once Away My Son' is part of Adult Swim's annual Singles series.
Brian Eno and My Bloody Valentine's Kevin Shields have collaborated on a new track called "Only Once Away My Son."
Released as part of Adult Swim's seventh annual Singles series of exclusive tracks, the nine-minute soundscape brings together Eno and Shields, the frontman for the iconic shoegaze band My Bloody Valentine. It appears to be the first time the two artists have worked directly together.
Earlier this year Eno put out a new album called Reflection. Shields, meanwhile, is said to be working on a new My Bloody Valentine album, according to an artist page on the website for the Iceland festival Norður og Niður.
