Indigo Aera lines up three new releases, announces ÆX offshoot

- Indigo Aera, the Amsterdam-based techno label run by Maarten Mittendorff and Jasper Wolff, has announced a trio of new releases along with plans for five more on an offshoot called ÆX. The main label's 20th EP sees collaborative material from Mittendorff and Wolff remixed by DVS1, Sterac and Ryan Elliott, while the label bosses offer a new version of their track "Stellar Cult." Following that are a pair of EPs from Private Press, a young duo from Warsaw, that feature reworks from Trip affiliate Deniro and Resochords along with Mittendorff and Wolff. All three records will come out sometime in November and December. Before all that, the new ÆX sub-label will launch. It'll put out hand-stamped compilation EPs focused on new and established Dutch talent, and a press release describes its remit as including "bristling and jacked-up house cuts, deep techno bubblers, zoned-out electronica and slippery electro jams." Five records have been scheduled on ÆX for now. The first, due for imminent release, packs a Wolff & Mittendorff cut and material from Kaap, Ocke W and Taupe. Those three names will make repeat ÆX appearances in the coming months, while Ben Buitendijk and Daniel Jacques are among the other contributing producers. Indigo Aera also has release parties lined up for next month in Düsseldorf and Warsaw. The label launched in 2011, and among the many other producers who've appeared on its records are Kirk Degiorgio, Antigone, Marcel Dettmann, Vince Watson and Skudge.
