- Sessions In Post is available now on the platform Splice.
Amon Tobin has released his first-ever sample pack, Sessions In Post.
The pack features sounds used in Tobin's productions, with points of emphasis including "atmospheric synths and processed field recordings," according to a press release. The longtime Ninja Tune affiliate himself describes it as a "winsome collection... made with care and shared with good intentions."
Sessions In Post is available now on Splice, a cloud-based music creation platform. Boys Noize and Mr. Oizo are among the other big names who have put out sample packs on the site.
Tobin has otherwise been quiet on the new music front—his last studio album under his given name, ISAM, came out back in 2011 (and his most recent Two Fingers LP was out the next year). Earlier in 2017 he made soundscapes for a visual art display at the Sydney Opera House called Lighting The Sails. Watch a video for that below.
