- The UK artist will DJ at the one-night audiovisual installation on August 18th.
Lee Gamble has been enlisted to DJ with the London Contemporary Orchestra at Printworks on August 18th.
The UK artist's DJ set will be a part of GABA-analogue, a one-night installation commissioned by London Contemporary Orchestra. The audiovisual experience will incorporate a new composition by experimental composer and turntablist Shiva Feshareki featuring "four orchestras playing simultaneously with electronic sampling" across the 30,000 sq ft space, which the audience is free to roam as "GABA-analogue will physically move space around the venue."
The event precedes another Feshareki-commissioned collaboration between Gamble and the LCO, which will see the Orchestra performing his first acoustic composition inside a cave in Northumbria this September.
A second season of dance parties at Printworks will run from October to December.
