  • Madrid techno label Semantica's ten-year-anniversary run of EPs is set to conclude in early May. The last two installments of the series will come 14 months after Semantica boss—and recent RA podcasterSvreca started it. Both 10.IX and 10.X will feature efforts from producers previously affiliated with the label, with one exception: Paris's Polar Inertia. Their 12 minute-long "Passive Synthesis" kicks off 10.IX. The other two tracks on that EP come from DJ Nobu and the first collaboration between Svreca and Italian artist Neel. In what looks like a nod to Semantica's past, producers who figured in the early output of the label contribute to the electro-leaning 10.X EP. Annie Hall has the honor of closing out the series with "Kanji," a track from a 2010 compilation CD on the label now getting its first vinyl release. Arcanoid and Plant43 also pitch in with original material, while Ideograma (also known as DJ F) offers a remix of a Jimmy Edgar production. Listen to samples of both releases.
