Peven Everett's Put Your Back Into It 12-inch will be available on wax again this month.
The Illinois native most recently made the news thanks to a guest turn on the Gorillaz' comeback album, Humanz, but he's best known as the acrobatic voice behind a number of house classics such as "Stuck," "Feelin You In And Out" and "Put Your Back Into It." The latter tune was initially released in on Unified Records in 2007 and has been rinsed by everyone from Theo Parrish to Ben UFO to Motor City Drum Ensemble over the years. The fully-licensed repress comes via the Italian archival label Groovin Recordings and includes the original B-side, a remix from NYC producer Quentin Harris.
