It's the drum & bass artist's first LP as Goldie since 2008.
Goldie has announced a new album.
The Journey Man is a 16-track, triple-vinyl set due for release in June on Metalheadz, the label he founded with DJs Kemistry and Storm. According to a post on his Facebook page, the album concept has existed for five years and was mapped "out on various drawings" over a two-year period before being recorded in Asia over three months last summer. The Journey Man be his first full-length as Goldie since 2008's Sine Tempus. The Soundtrack, and follows 2009's Memoirs Of An Afterlife LP under his Rufige Crew alias.
Metalheadz itself has recently been dipping back into its storied back catalogue and reissuing key plates, such as Source Direct's A Made Up Sound / The Cult, alongside releasing new material from the likes of Dom & Roland, Commix and Detboi.
