The four-day event will run from August 17th through 20th near the medieval town of Crato.
Giegling will curated a stage at a new festival in Portugal called Waking Life.
Running from August 17th through 20th, the music and arts event will go down near the medieval town of Crato in the dusty surrounds of Northern Alentejo. There will be three stages and a lake. The Weimar crew will curate one of the stages throughout the weekend.
The festival's in-house team will program another house and techno stage, except on one day when they'll hand over the reins to Return, the events arm of Berlin-based booking agency Solid AM. A third chill-out area will also be curated in-house. So far only six acts have been announced, with spots for DJ Dustin, Konstantin, nthng, Robag Wruhme, DeWalta and Sebastian Mullaert, who will perform live. More names will be revealed in the coming months.
Also in 2017, Giegling will embark on their Planet Giegling world tour, which will see the collective touch down in 18 cities.
