- The UK venue will close at 4 AM from this weekend.
Southampton club Junk's license has been reinstated in full following a series of appeals.
The London Road venue has been embroiled in a legal dispute for much of 2016, following a violent incident outside the club in January. Since April, it's been threatened with reduced opening hours. Representatives from the club appeared in court yesterday (November 9th), when it was ruled that the club can return to shutting at 4 AM. However, according to DJ Mag, the legal battle has left the team financially crippled, with more than £200k of debt.
"We have managed to save the club but it has been one of the most difficult and testing challenges for everyone involved," read a post on Junk's Facebook. "We now set upon the task of rebuilding and moving forward. We'd like to thank everyone who has supported us throughout."
Upcoming events at the club include a party with Horse Meat Disco on November 12th and Matthias Tanzmann on December 3rd. Later in December, there's a BuggedOut! night with Boddika on the 10th, followed by a Secretsundaze New Year's Eve session with Giles Smith and James Priestley on Saturday the 31st.
