- The LP will land on the fabric-owned label in January 2017.
Throwing Snow has a new album coming on fabric's Houndstooth label in 2017.
Bristol-based artist Ross Tones has been working closely with Houndstooth since 2014, releasing his debut LP, Mosaic, and a run of EPs. His second full-length, Embers, was recorded in Daddry Shield, a tiny village in County Durham. According to the label, it "draws stimulus from laws and patterns of the natural world," presenting 14 tracks in Tones's lively, emotive, synth-heavy style. It'll be available digitally, on CD and as a double-pack LP from January 20th. Subscribers to fabric's long-running fabricfirst scheme will receive a CD copy as part of January's membership—the first time an artist album has replaced one of the official mixes.
