- It's the Dial co-founder's first LP since 2001.
Carsten Jost will release a new album, Perishable Tactics, next January.
David Lieske is one of the co-founders of esteemed Hamburg label Dial, and he's been releasing music as Carsten Jost since 2000. He hasn't had a solo record under that name since 2007, however. His last full-length, You Don't Need A Weatherman To Know Which Way The Wind Blows, came out all the way back in 2001.
Perishable Tactics is something of a hodgepodge, comprising new tracks alongside both sides of his last single, 2007's Atlantis I & II, plus "Love," which is taken from a split 12-inch with Efdemin the same year. The intro and outro come from Lieske's band Misanthrope CA, who also released an LP on Dial this year.
