- François K's residency will leave its longtime home in Manhattan this fall.
Deep Space NYC will move from Cielo to Output after one final party in October, switching from a weekly format to a monthly.
After 13 years in Manhattan, François K's storied residency will move across the bridge to Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The new night at Output will take place once a month on Wednesdays. "While we have absolutely cherished our time at Cielo," Deep Space promoters wrote in a statement yesterday, "we also feel there is a tremendous creative community in Brooklyn who embrace Deep Space’s sense of adventure."
There will be two more parties at their longtime Meatpacking home before they pack up for Brooklyn, starting with a set from disco edit wiz The Revenge this Sunday, August 28th. The final bash goes down on October 9th, with a "very special guest" to be announced closer to the date.
