  • Bill Converse will release the Warehouse Invocation EP via Dark Entries on July 11th. Converse rubbed shoulders with Motor City luminaries such as Claude Young, Traxx and Rolando as a young DJ, but since 1998 he's kept a low profile in Texas, working out of various "studio bunkers." Over the past year, he's transcended word-of-mouth reputation, releasing the Meditations/Industry album on Dark Entries and turning in well-received podcasts for L.I.E.S. and RA. The follow-up EP, like Meditations/Industry, looks back to a 2013 cassette release on the Obsolete Future imprint. Three of the tracks on Warehouse Invocation were pulled off that tape and remastered. An unreleased cut called "Riverbank" rounds out the record. Dark Entries says that one was "recorded at home in early 2014 in one take with a mic placed outside of the window to record the the sounds of the river late at night." Listen to the title track in full.
