The Argot Records and Let's Play House crews will also appear at the Ace Hotel gigs.
Rising LA party Dig Deeper will host a daytime series at the Ace Hotel rooftop starting this Saturday, June 25th.
Dig Deeper has been around for a little over a year. Its residents and organizers, Alison Swing and Masha, have brought in acts like The Black Madonna, DJ Sprinkles and Axel Boman for a variety of underground and club shows during that period. The popular local DJs will be on-hand for each of the daytime edition dates, which start off on June 25th with Steve Mizek and Savile. The DJ duo, who also run Argot Records together, recently visited LA for a well-received set at Acid Camp. The organizer of that party, Aaron Davis, is also on that bill.
At the end of July, Swing and Masha will bring in the inscrutable Queens, New York producer Madteo, who just launched his new, self-titled imprint with the Voracious Culturilizer Disco Mix EP. On August 20th, Let's Play House label boss Jacques Renault is on the roof. He's joined by LPH affiliate and sometime LA resident Urulu, who recently headlined a Dig Deeper warehouse party. The series wraps up on September 17th with a visit from Ninja Tune signee Max Graef and some other members of the Tartelet crew, Glenn Astro and Muff Deep.
