- The American actress reads poetry on the Belgian outfit's next single.
Soulwax have worked with American actress Chloë Sevigny on their latest single, "Heaven Scent."
The record is coming out on Deewee, the label that 2ManyDJs—AKA Soulwax's Dewaele brothers—launched in September of 2015. According to the label, "Heaven Scent" is a "modern disco take with a suitably classic feel" that sees Sevigny reading a poem called Prayer To Saint Thérése over a "percussion-led low down groove." In addition to the title track, there's also a dub version. Sevigny's reading of Prayer To Saint Thérése’ has previously been used on a tune by Johnny Jewel.
