Total Science's C.I.A. (Computer Integrated Audio) Records will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a compilation called CIA 20.
The UK duo, real names Paul Smith and Jason Greenhalgh, started the drum & bass label in Oxford in 1996, and have watched it grow into one of the genre's key and longest-running outlets. CIA 20, out June 24th, pulls together 14 new tracks from various label staples and close affiliates, including Calibre, Break, Zero T, S.P.Y., Chroma, Nymfo and Total Science themselves, who team up with Digital and Spirit on "Apply The Pressure." FD, Murdock and The Invaderz also feature. Eight of the tracks will be available as a double-pack vinyl, while the digital bundle adds another six.
Listen to a sampler from the compilation.
