A new team is taking over the lease of the rue Montmartre's club for the summer season.
A new club called Cats&Dogs will open on Thursday, June 2nd.
The team behind Pigalle venue La Confiserie is moving location, setting up shop within the walls of Social Club for the summer. Equipped with a new D&B soundsystem, the 600-capacity club will run from June through August, operating from Thursday night through Sunday morning. Early bookings include regulars at La Confiserie such as Neue Grafik and Hardrock Striker on June 4th, Beat X Changers and Point Carre on June 25th and the D.KO artists on July 23rd.
Opened by Savoir Faire in lieu of Triptyque, Social Club was a key club of the Parisian nightlife in the late 2000s. Home of labels like Ed Banger, ClekClekBoom, Kitsuné and Bromance, the club had experienced a slowdown after several management changes. More recently, it was mostly hosting trap and hip-hop parties, the last of which will go down on Saturday, May 28th with Casey Veggies performing.
